Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The Modern Bride. By placing an order with us—whether for custom or semi-custom stationery, digital services, or wedding website design—you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. DESIGN INCLUSION & PROOFING

  • Upon payment and acceptance of terms, a design form will be sent to gather your wording, color choices, and preferences.

  • Three (3) rounds of digital proofs are included:

    • First proof based on your form

    • Two additional rounds for revisions

  • Revisions may include ink color, copy, and minor layout adjustments.

  • Changes to fonts, design elements, or major layout shifts are only allowed if pre-approved before placing your order.

  • Additional revisions beyond the three included will be billed at $75 per proof, payable prior to delivery of further revisions.

2. CUSTOM & SEMI-CUSTOM ORDERS

  • We offer:

    • Fully custom stationery and wedding websites

    • Semi-custom stationery collections with editable elements

    • In-house printing for all orders (custom and semi-custom)

  • All designs are for personal use only and may not be resold, copied, or redistributed.

3. ORDERING & PRODUCTION

  • Please ensure your email address is accurate, as all communication and proofs will be sent to this address.

  • We recommend ordering 10–15 extra stationery pieces to allow for last-minute guest list changes or keepsakes.

  • Once your proof is approved for print, quantities cannot be changed or increased without starting a new order.

  • Production begins only after final design approval is received in writing.

4. TURNAROUND TIME

  • First proof delivered within 5 business days of receiving your completed form.

  • Delays in response or additional revisions may extend timelines.

  • Post-approval production timelines:

    • Digital printing: 10 business days + shipping

    • Embossing or debossing: 15–20 business days + shipping

  • Custom finishes and peak seasons may increase turnaround time.

5. GUEST ADDRESSING

  • If ordered, guest addressing must be submitted in the provided spreadsheet format.

  • Up to 5 corrections are included.

  • More than 5 corrections will require a spreadsheet resubmission and incur a $35 reformatting fee.

  • Please thoroughly review all names and addresses prior to submission to avoid extra fees.

6. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

  • We ship worldwide via UPS, DHL, FedEx, or similar services, depending on client location.

  • The Modern Bride is not responsible for:

    • Delays caused by couriers or customs

    • Damaged or lost items once dispatched

  • Clients must inspect orders within 5 business days of delivery and notify us of any issues in writing.

  • If no notification is received within this window, the order is deemed accepted.

7. RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

  • All sales are final and non-refundable due to the custom nature of our work.

  • Returns and exchanges are not accepted.

  • If your printed product differs from the approved proof:

    • We will reprint the order at no cost to you.

  • We are not liable for errors approved by the client during the proofing process.

  • Reprints due to client error will be billed and treated as a new order.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & DESIGN RIGHTS

  • All designs remain the intellectual property of The Modern Bride.

  • Editable/source files are not provided or sold.

  • Clients may not:

    • Resell

    • Reproduce

    • Alter or distribute any designs or design elements

  • We reserve the right to:

    • Share completed work on our website and social platforms (after your wedding date)

    • Adapt custom designs into future semi-custom collections (released no earlier than 6–12 months post-event)

  • Fonts and design methods are proprietary and not disclosed under any circumstances.

9. DIGITAL PRODUCTS & WEDDING WEBSITE

  • Our websites and digital products may include:

    • RSVP management

    • Guest communication features

    • Cash registry integrations

    • QR code access

  • Website designs are coordinated to complement your stationery suite for a seamless guest experience.

  • All digital services are for personal, single-event use only.

10. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS & CUSTOMS

  • Clients are responsible for:

    • Any customs fees, taxes, or import duties

    • Understanding local regulations that may delay delivery

  • The Modern Bride is not responsible for customs delays or international courier disruptions.

  • All invoices are issued in USD.

  • We are not liable for currency exchange fluctuations or international transaction fees.
